Hiking
Korgen Camping is an ideal starting point for woodland walks or mountain hiking. Guided mountain- and glacier excursions are available. You can also roam on your own, on well marked trails. You can find spectacular mountain views, caves, boreal rain forest and waterfalls. If fishing is your passion, the fjords, rivers and many lakes offer countless possibilities. The area also offers excellent opportunities for hunters, in the season.

Volunteers of the local Tourist Association (Turistforeningen) organize various hikes throughout the year, and have several cabins available for hikers.

Glacier Walking
The Okstind Glacier is one of Norway's largest glaciers, encircling the tallest mountains in the North of Norway (Oksskolten 1916 m.) There ara guided tours every Saturday in July and August. Equipment for safe hiking in this magnificent ice landscape is available. Please book in advance.

Saltwater Fishing: There are abundant populations of several species of fish; Cod, herring, trout, haddock and halibut, in addition to salmon and trout to name a few.

Sailing/Sea-rafting
If booked in advance, there are possibilities to join as crew on the Colin Archer cutter "Kristine," or on traditional Nordland craft. Sea rafting can also be arranged on request.
