Korgen Camping is an ideal starting point for walks in the woods or in the mountains. In addition to Okstindene (Northern Norway’s highest mountain with the oldest and sixth largest glacier,) you can roam on your own along well-marked trails in a nature that offers the most. A trip to the famous Rabothytta, which is located right on the edge of the glacier, is recommended most warmly. Besides spectacular views from many mountains, one can experience caves, potholes, primeval forests, waterfalls in addition to just suck in the power of nature. If fishing is your passion, the fjords, rivers and the many lakes offer nice fishing experiences, summer and winter. The area also boasts good hunting ground.

Geocaching is a popular activity among young and old, and in the area around Korgen Camping you can explore exciting areas while looking for caches that are hidden.
The area around Korgen is great during the winter, with lots of nice hiking destinations.
During winter, mostly in December, January and February the chances of seeing the Northern Lights dance across the sky, is quite large. The campsite is nicely situated outside the illuminated village and is therefore a perfect place to spot the starry sky and possible northern lights.
Many nice small and large lakes offer great fishing opportunities, even in winter.
